A good friend of mine who often comes to crash at my place has been in a textual relationship with a guy for over a year. The fact that this relationship-over-text has been going on for a year speaks to either her resilience or something else entirely…….. but after listening to her complain about her physical neglect by this Guy Over the Phone (who some of us are starting to doubt exists in corporeal form), I think I will make a parody film called Him about this guy she’s been texting all year long. Scarlett Johannsson can play my friend and Joaquin Phoenix (coolest name ever, btw) can send the same complex, winding, Italian texts that my friend recieves.
Golden Globes, here I come!
