A little hard for me to say now for sure…….. and I hope nothing in the universe will render this impossible to do. But this gesture meant a lot to me, and I think I would like for the first purchase I make of such magnanimity to be for my parents instead of myself. Not because it’s easy; actually, because it’s very hard. I live so far from them now and only talk to them once a week that it’s hard to even keep them in my sphere of orbit. I only blog about it because I don’t quite discuss this people, so the thoughts end up stewing about in my head. I’m always afraid that I’m going to grow up and have a cold, broken family, but I guess that starts with myself to fight that trend.
